Steve has been around the design build business since he was a kid, as the son of architect Charles Page. After several years working on both residential and high rise construction projects, Steve earned his architectural bachelor degree from the University of Illinois and obtained his architectural license.
Fresh out of college, Steve worked with a few larger architectural firms, as a designer of both retail shopping centers as well as high rise office buildings, including the Prudential 2 Tower. His background is strong in design as well as an extremely good background in the way buildings are put together. Steve eventually went to work for a real estate developer, which helped round off his business background. These experiences helped develop his design capabilities as well as business background. It was very exciting to be involved with these very large projects, but he was impatient to see these large projects to completion. Residential design build offered a relatively faster process, to see your designs realized in little more than a year versus the 3-5 year process for some of the larger commercial projects he worked on.
Eventually joining his brother and sister in the residential design business, Steve has designed and built some very impressive homes along the northshore in the past 18 years. Steve's considerable design background as well as his attention to detail are what set him apart from other design build companies. In addition, his determination to please the client and make the entire design/build process as enjoyable as possible, are a rare goal for most builders.
Steve has since decided to direct his energies to a smaller, more select clientele that wants the ultimate in design and a hands on approach to the building process.
Without a doubt, Steve carries on the Page family tradition of designing and building exceptional custom homes with an unmatched attention to detail.
